Development Team
The process of building the Crystal Azure Beach Resort requires the talents and energy of an incredible team of people, from architects and land planners to construction workers and marketers, to name but a few. The role of managing and coordinating all of these activities falls to the development team of Edward Esposito and James Fox. They are each uniquely qualified for their role in the resort development and are ultimately accountable for its success.
Mr. Esposito has more than 20 years of experience in commercial and luxury residential construction and will manage all aspects of the resort design planning, approval and construction process. He has worked closely with our architectural team and the Cayman Islands Planning Board to secure site plan approval and will continue to manage the next phase of detailed construction planning. Mr. Esposito has selected a Caymanian General Contractor and will make all final decisions on matters that impact construction material sourcing, subcontractor selection and coordination of work activities. Ultimately, Mr. Esposito will ensure that the project comes in on time, on budget and delivers a work product that is consistent with Crystal Azure's luxury standards.
Mr. Fox is responsible for the overall busines strategy and implementing the ongoing resort operations. He is a licensed attorney with more than twelve years of experience as a senior business operations consultant working for firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Fox has spent the majority of his consulting career helping his Fortune 500 clients formulate their business strategies and implement operational improvements to increase efficiencies and improve their overall business results. Prior to becoming a business consultant, Mr. Fox spent ten years working in the hospitality industry and has held multiple management positions at upscale establishments such as the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel.
Other key team members include: Carvelle McLean, a registered and approved General Contractor with the Cayman Islands Planning Department; Bert Notch, the resort's lead architectural plan designer; and Mark Knowlton, sales leader at Century 21 on Cayman Brac.
Mr. McLean is a Cayman Islands resident with more than 20 years of commerical and residential construction experience, completing numerous high quality projects that range from Cayman Islands government buildings to multi-million dollar beachfront homes.
Mr. Notch is a nationally recognized architect with more than 25 years of experience designing customer focussed works of art for his elite clientele. He utilizes state of the art technology in his designs and through his company, Top Notch Design, Crystal Azure will leverage a team of engineers and tradesmen that are accustomed to our shared dedication to exacting perfection in detail and service. |
