Beachfront Site

The resort is located on over an acre of ocean front land with 300 feet of beach (about the size of a football field).

Each villa will enjoy unobstructed views of the crystal azure ocean and will be more than 30 feet above sea level. This picture shows a snorkeler just off shore.

The site has a natural slope and sits 10 feet above sea level. Construction plans call for increased resort elevation and a man made swimming cove to provide the best possible beach experience. |
Business Strategy
Anyone who has visited Cayman Brac knows that it has almost all of the attributes needed to create the perfect setting for vacationing tourists. The only thing missing is upscale accommodations with full service amenities, which is exactly what we plan to offer.
Currently, the only option visitors have is discount dive accommodations, which has prevented the island from enjoying any growth in tourism outside of the value oriented diver. We plan to change that by targeting the full spectrum of potential customers: value oriented divers, sophisticated travelers seeking luxury services, and families with non-divers that want full service amenities such as our day-spa and children's activity center. Crystal Azure will be the premiere resort on the island and as a result, we expect our villa owners to enjoy higher rental occupancy rates and a better return on their investment.
Built to the Highest Standards
Although the likelihood of a serious hurricane is small (one in every seventy years), the Crystal Azure Beach Resort has been designed with the highest possible standards to help minimize storm damage. This required extensive research in design engineering and additional construction expense, but we believe it is absolutely necessary to protect our collective investment in the resort and villas. The following design elements have been included to ensure that Crystal Azure is the safest and strongest resort possible: solid concrete construction with steel reinforcement, high impact hurricane resistant windows, high wind resistant roofing materials, and solar powered electricity with a back-up generator system.
An additional precaution we have taken is to elevate the entire resort by designating the first floor as private and enclosed parking for our villa owners. The additional floor increases the height of the resort's living space to more than 30 feet above sea level, a claim which cannot be matched in the Cayman Islands.
Of course, the resort will also be fully insured to help mitigate any losses due to unforeseen circumstances.
